Educated In CHI: A Recap
Thank you to everyone who attended Thursday’s Educated in Chicago event – we hope you had as much fun as we did! We learn something new at every event, but this one in particular was packed with interesting tidbits from our presenters and attendees.
For example, did you know barefoot running is a great way to pick up girls? Or that it just takes a little creativity to “ice” a friend living abroad? And who knew something as simple as your least favorite Chicago street intersection could spark an entire conversation?
We met PhDs, globe trotters, a tech wiz, a pro-bono yoga instructor who helps cancer patients, marathon runners, and so many more people. One presenter even hand-drew his slides – check out our Facebook page to see the advice he would share with his 18-year-old self.
You blow our minds every time with your amazing stories, whether they’re as a big as a trek to another content or as small as your last trip to the grocery store. Someone even schooled us on the contents of his refrigerator – almost entirely beer (let us know when we can come over…).
We are excited for more Me So Far events coming up soon! Stay tuned – and in the meantime, go get some coffee with a new friend!
